Token Cost vs Value
Is this too many tokens? Too little?
This is personal and work usage over the last 30 days, not including tools that don't expose token usage.
For me this was some what expected as I ramped up some new workflows and explored some different ideas.
I've heard of teams being pushed because they're not burning enough tokens, and I've heard of plenty of surprise bills from unpredictable token use.
Neither approach makes sense. Tokens are a cost metric, not a value metric.
What actually matters: Did I ship faster? Did my clients get better outcomes? Did I learn something I couldn't have without it?
How are you measuring this? Time saved? Output quality? Still figuring it out?
